LURCH is a Portland based, community driven zine. Each issue presents a broad theme that creatives are encouraged to (loosely) follow and submit artwork, writing, photography, textiles and more to be featured in the following issue.
Founded in 2022 by Emma Wiseman and Anna Volk, LURCH has been growing steadily.

We’ve participated in the Independent Publishers Panelthrough Literary Arts, our team has helped organize the annual Portland Zine Symposium. And we’re also involved in an ongoing Independent Publishers Research Project with BERM magazine.
